E320 97 p0422 and P0455

Hi All
If you can help me on my issue. I have changed the o2 sensor recently and the car passed the emission test. however, after about a week P0455 came on and I changed the Gas Cap and cleared the code, and then the code came back again (P0455). Then after another week P0422 came on with
P0133 (o2 sensor again). Any suggestions? should I start with the P0455 or Do you know if they are related? I have some friends advising I should change the charcol canister Is that a good start ? and If this is going to solve P0455 will it solve the P0422 or should I start with the O2 diag prob (sensor 2) and then the cat convertor ? please advise !!!

Those codes have nothing in common...

The P0 422 simply means that the catalyst isn't working..

The P0 455 means that the tank evap system isn't holding OR getting enough vacuum to change the MAP sensor reading at all..evap system codes for leakage can be difficult to find & repair..a repair shop wit a "smoke" machine would be a starting point since you already have replaced the gas cap..

The P0 133 means the O2 sensor is OLD OR that the sensor isn't sweeping back & forth quick enough...a scanner with "freeze frame" data should be able to clear-up that problem...vacuum leaks can cause that problem...

Possible bad purge valve causing 2 of the 3 codes...???

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. I just have a small question which is -What if I ignored all of those errors will that affect any other parts on the car. The car is running fine and smoth. I just dont want to ignore those and cause another bigger problem
Thanks again if you can advise me on that
