This timing chain system is for sale in Swap Shop on mercedesshop.com. Is this the same system that is used in a 1985 model?

These OEM German parts were originally bought for a 1984 300D Turbo. They are in their original packaging and are new.

Timing Chain
Chain Tensioner
Chain Ramp

Thanks,
Jim

thanks Donnie

I will purchase these items from Partsshop or Fastlane over the next few weeks (along with some other items I will be needing to get this car where I want it). Is it possible to replace all of the rails (tensioner, guide, etc) without taking the engine out of the car? I know I can replace the chain without removing the engine.

I replaced the radiator on Thursday (purchased from Fastlane) and took the car for a spin. It runs/drives out great! There are alot of little items that need to be done that I hope to accomplish over the next year or so.

thanks,
Jim
