M110 High Cold Idle elimination

All M110's were desined to idle high during warmup phase. Does anyone know how to lower this cold idle down to within a levl closer to final idle speed? It looks like the warmup regulator relies on the temp sensor mounted on cyl. head. I'm thinking an additional resistor in this circuit will do it without effecting the cold start valve

The M110 engine uses an additional air valve..has it's own thermostat built in
