The bumpstops for the hydropnematic shock on my 92 300 TE were almost completely discentagrated.
Below are photo of th new ones I had made. They are made from an expensive but very durable material, natural gum rubber. After several tries we got them exactly the right size so they fit in the shock nice and tight with the right amount to clearance for the rod so they do not interfere with movement. The material was cut on a water jet machine with 60,000 psi. We sliced one side of each bump stop with the water jet so it can be installed.
Now I need to have some nice zipped bellows made for these shocks.
If anyone wants a set of these bumpstops I can sell them pretty inexpensively since I've already paid to have the computer setup with the program to make the cuts.
The natural gum rubber is resistant to scratches, abrasion and wear. It has a Shore Durometer hardness of 40. The material is very firm, i.e., does not compress real easily.
