My son and I just reassembled engine after repairing Head Gasket and Water Pump. Along the way back, we aren't sure about a cable connection.
It starts right side of Coil (i think)short length black in shrinkwrap protective coating to protect it from the elements. We believe it gets fastened along with another wire (eyelid) on front of intake manifold just above the water pump. Frong first leg from block The car started alright and ran for sometime. After about 1 hour running and driving, ABS light came on along with SRS light on dash. An the car stalled. Battery was drained very badly. Any points to check on for advise? So close but still far away. Thanks Birger |

Check the circuits for the alternator. Not enough info to advise on your wire but the condition you have is indicating that the alternator isn't working.
