1997 E320 P0730
I have a 1997 E320. I scaned the computer and got this code: P0730 incorrect gear ratio. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks.

The code you've got indicates a transmission problem. Since there isn't a warning MIL for the transmission, the engine management control module is used. If the transmission is shifting OK I'd suggest clearing the code and hoping it doesn't come back.

The P0 730 is a ENGINE code! You must erase that code & also bring up the code in the trans & erase it fot the trans to work again.
Hate to tell you BUT that code normally means the trans is has a damaged clutch pack!
