What is a "Ground Connector Sleeve"
The wiring diagram for my car shows an item called a "Ground Connector Sleeve" its designated as Z6/1. Basically one of my coolant sensor wires first goes through this sleeve, and than continues to chassis ground.
The reason I am asking is that I had to run a new wire, but I ran it straight to chassis ground, bypassing that "ground connector sleeve". I did that, since I don't know where this "ground connector sleeve is located", nor do I know what it is, or what it does. Does anyone know? Thanks Phil

That means 2 OR more wires join together & then either are grounded (in your case) or are fed power.
That Z6/1 could be anywhere in the engine wiring harness!
