Sway bar link bushing story....
...did mine on the front of the 300e tonight. Nice bang for the buck for 20 dollars worth of rubber. Tightens things up noticeably. Possibly this could be the second replacement set. Old rubber was just compressed, not dried out, though. My son said the inner two inside holes were stretched a bit.
Story..... we lowered the driver's side... then as we were lowering the passenger side the shock wouldn't compress... jacked it back up, took off the wheel and just observed....instead of taking the shock off, I just put a jack stand under the control arm and slowly compressed the spring by dropping the car. That did the trick. Don't know why that worked but the car on its own weight wouldn't Don't know why this happened. Shocks are in good shape. Car runs better... Next up, new bilstein comforts for the rear. And probably those plastic links. I have the shocks already.
