Any good Merc mechanics out there wanting to make some extra $$$.
I have a 1993 2.3 190E with 215,000 km on it.

It has a slow leak and the A/C is not working.

I live in Mississauga myself, and just had the condensor and dryer replaced on my '94 C280 this week. I had Charlie McNally, of McNally Auto Service, do the work. He is on LePage Court, in the Keele/Finch area, and his number is 416 398 6799. He is a smaller independent who specializes in Mercedes who I found in the forum on this site that is for recommending good mechanics. He's honest, fair, and does good work. You might want to check him out.

Another recommendation was Euromotion 416 251 4788 in Etobicoke. They charged me 40 bucks for a window switch whereas Mercedes wanted 60.

Seriously, he knows his stuff (former MB tech) and is a great guy. I've tried a ton of mechanics in the area and only found him to be any good. To be honest, I've heard about Charlie McNally but never tried him (too far).

Sharing my experiences

Went to Euromotion yesterday, picked up window switch asked them to have a look at my car, they wanted 80 bucks for an estimate.

Decided to go to Charlie, everyone is right, he is a really good guy. It was worth the drive from Mississauga, glad I put this feeler out on this forum.

Suggested not to get A/C fix as it could cost big $$$. Charging 800 to fix leak that is coming from the head gasket. Everywhere else they are charging 1600 plus. Didn't charge me for any estimate. He was honest, fair and straight forward.

And that is why he is the best mb mechanic in the toronto area. He doesnt need to rip people off because he receives such a large number of customers. Just look at his shop, 8 lifts, and its always filled up.
