2000 c230k - smart key working intermittently?
Okay noticed a new quirk today, mind you it's almost 100 degrees out, and the car has been sitting in the sun all day.
I go out to the car, hit the trunk release button on the key, nothing. Hit the unlock button, it unlocks, hit again, it unlocks the rest of the doors and the trunk. Open the trunk by pushing the button, close the trunk, hit the lock button, nothing. Car will not respond to the key. Stick the key in the ignition, you hear the relay click and the key turns. Turn the key on, leave it for a sec, remove, then get out, and then the key locks the car.... It seems like the key isnt staying synced to the car? Any ideas? George
