Sun roof stuck on 2002 C230

Sun roof stuck on 2002 C230

My sunroof is stuck in the closed position on my 2002 C230 Kompressor. I can open/close the sun-shade but cannot open the sunroof. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The first time this happened, the mechanic said that it just needed to be "reset". At the time, I didn't think anything of it because there was nothing broken and it cost nothing to "fix". Any ideas?
