clk drivers door wont close properly window catches on door rubber
1999 model year clk 230. My drivers door will not close properly unless I let the electric window down close the door then raise the window. If I do not go through this performance everytime I get into the car the window sticks against the door rubber leaving a gap that you could put your fingers around. I only have the car a week and feel that this cannot be right has anyone else had this problem. I know if I cannot sort It out the door seals will get damaged and the door will be forced out of line.

Check the Other Side
I think these cars have a feature that slightly pulls the window down when the door is opened and they raises it when the door has been closed for a good seal. Watch the glass in the other side to see if something is not working on the driver's side.
