w126 headlight frame replacement

I need instructions on changing out the old headlight frame (I have seen it call the headlight door also) on my 87 300SDL. I have the replacements (from fastlane) and want to replace the faded/broken originals.

Simple hopefully I remember everything:

First take the turn signals off, their is just a plastic nut holding them on, you will see a clip holding the lense on the light. That is 1 of 3.

The second is right on top.

The third is the hardest, on the pass side you can look underneath the bumper you should see it a flat blade screw driver works well to un-clip it. Since you have an SDL their is an oil cooler under the drivers side, so on that side you have to pull off the metal piece underneath the light. The headlight wiper just unclips and will lay against the bumper, one nut holds it on. After that there is a phillips head screw on the side of the metal piece next to the electric cooling fan(the screw is body color). By removing the turn signal you exposed the other screw that holds that metal strip on.

Hopefully this makes sense.

The cost of a pair of frames costs is ~2/3 of what a set of Depo or TYC replacement Euro headlamps costs. Euro headlamps will provide more light where you need it than the US-spec headlights.
