There has been an increasing interest in members requesting to see pictures of other member's rides. However, many of us don't have the means (or wherewithall) to post photos in this forum. What we MAY have is access to a digital camera, and for sure harcopy photos of our rides. If I'm not mistaken, to post a photo in this forum, one has to include a resident website where the actual photo "lives" -- not something a lot of us have. Here's my suggestion: Would mercedesshop.com be willing to accept e-mail attachments of jpeg files to post in a new section called, "Reader's Rides"? (Sorry Clinton, but it's a great name you've come up with for the section in your website http://mb190e.50g.com). Maybe even accept hardcopy photos for scanning into jpeg format (this assumes mercedesshop.com has a color scanner AND the memmber pays for return postage if they want their phots back). What are your thoughts? Anyone?

Brian,
If you want your own little space on the web, Yahoo! is handing them out for free...you get a bunch of space, enough for loads of pics, and you get a free email address to boot. ( this way all of you fan mail can get sent there instead of gettng lost with the 'important' mail on your main account. It can be a little trying to get the thing set up, but you don't have to have it look like a million bucks, and if you want to keep it as a warehouse to keep pics in, its pretty easy to do.
I say all this, yet I myself have yet to get it good looking enough to provide a link to "my place". Which gets me to thinking..I can probably play host to a few pictures...not buttloads, at least half a dozen though. Maybe some other members would be willing to carry a pic or two for other folks too?
-Larry (there he goes, thinking again...groan)
