How long is too long?
I placed an order to a vendor in NY for some swaybars for my W210 back on the 16th of September at which time I was told that they should be here in about three weeks.
I have sent e-mails on the 29th and today, politely requesting an update on the status of the order. I also left a voicemail message requesting the same information. My question is: How long should I give this vendor to respond? It has been several days since the first e-mail, and I'm beginning to get concerned as I plan on rebuilding the suspension next week. Am I being unreasonable in expecting some sort of response or an order update? Or am I simply being neurotic as rebuild time draws closer?

It's been WAY too long already.
Sorry if you're out any money.

Depends on a few things - are they open on weekends? Do you include those days?
Did you already pay? With Paypal, you only get 30 days to claim fraud. Do they have a reliable reputation? Is there a web-based form for questions, or an e-mail? It's be pushing my comfort level for even getting the items due to the non-response, let alone getting them in time. |

They have a webform for questions. They also give a contact phone number. I've been trying to call, but no one answers. I just gave up and sent a request for cancellation.... Just got a response confirming cancellation.
Put in a new order with TireRack. They always seem to come through on time.
