I'm having the transmission in my 87 300E rebuilt, it will cost $2500.

The transmission was leaking and was not shifting properly/smoothly.

The tool worked like a charm!! It took more time to realize how to set it to remove the tie rod end off the pitman arm than it took to seprate them.

The W124 is defenitley more complex than the 300CD, for example, I found out the the headrest were electric... I expect that with all this technology it will be a bit more...
