That was a reference to trying to win an argument with kids...exhausting and pointless...

Kids lack a lot of real-world knowledge, but think they know more than their parents (especially teens).

They have no trouble locking horns and will argue senselessly until you are convinced they are psychotic and just throw up your arms in despair!

When I sense that my daughter starts down that path, I just walk away...
