I just don’t get it, our obsession with boobs.

Please, show me some boobs! Big boobs, small boobs, Nat Geo boobs, funny boobs, ANY kind of boobs, just please, please, please, oh please, just show me some boobs.

Then, oh my deity and heaven forbid, she showed her boob!

Quick, issue a statement and launch investigations, we saw a boob!

I think it's just the fact well I don't know. MMMM BOOBS. I dont care what Janet Jackson did I wasnt offended but I can undertand why people did get upset kids did see it without any wanring.

It's a tough thing. We seem to be OK letting kids watch Jean Claude, Norris, Bruce Willis, etc, smash and shoot other people, yet letting kids see a boob is considered bad?

American men like breasts. Brazilian men like bums. Italian men like the entire figure. Breasts are a peculiar obsession in the US and I don't understand it, I think most men are afraid to admit they like other parts of a woman's body.

We saw a young girl having a meal with her dad at a Hooters as we drove by. You could see them quite clearly thru the window. My dad was surprised children were allowed into places like that. I was just surprised anyone would want to eat there.

dont get me wrong, i like boobs as much as anyone,
any frequently go out of my way to be exposed to them

it just seems that we are bombarded by boobs EVERYWHERE;
in every possible media and manner.

i cant imagine that ANY 10 year old doesnt see more graphic representation of sexual imagery on a nearly daily basis, whether at the supermarket checkout or on their family's TV or PC.

The only problem with boobs is that they are out of proportion to the woman's body and end up looking stupid. Many women spend a lot of money just to look like a bactrian on steroids. If you have the boobs you need a butt to go with them.

Its our double standard. No, did I say that? It is our businessmen, especially the entertainment industry businessmen standard.

We all love boobs, I don't see anything wrong with the boobs hanging out. Not even with the children staring right at them. They are part of nature. But, our society won't stand for that because there are big $$$ involved with boobs. You think she will still such a sex symbol if Maryln Moroe walked around with her boobs hanging out, or Elizabeth Taylor (when she was young that is), or Jane Mansfield?

Want to see plenty of boobs? Go to Africa. They are everywhere.

I find it interesting that commercials for viagra/trojan condoms etc can be aired without much complaint from anyone, but as soon as a boob is shown on public TV everyone flips out. Parents are saying "my child shouldn't be exposed to nudity" however, how many children are breast fed? So all of the sudden what once was a vital key to the development and health of a child, is now so sacred it can't even be seen. What would you rather your child do, ask you what the purpose of viagra is or see a boob on TV for .02 seconds? I love the way people think......

I can't believe the drama that has surrounded Janet's boob-flash. I mean, it's absolutely ridiculous! You would think that folks had never seen a breast before.

Kids are not going to be traumatized or grow up sexually dysfunctional just because they might have seen part of someone's boob for 1/10th of a second! Adults....well, if they haven't seen a breast or two by now, then they have much bigger issues to worry about!

Apparently most of these folks have never seen European or Australian TV either. It's quite common to see breasts on television, magazines, newspapers, etc. in many places, and goes largely unnoticed and un-commented upon.

The whole thing would be such a non-issue if the media hadn't milked it (oops!--no pun intended! ) for all the ratings they could get out of it.

Death and violence and blood and guts and rape and crime and shootings and beatings....all of this is offered up as entertainment on television every day, all day, and there is no nationwide gasping in shock and outrage....but there is all this hand-wringing over a glimpse of a boobie? It's only a big deal because the news, and a lot of controversy-hungry morons, are MAKING it a big deal. It's stupid.

My girlfriend of the past 3 years, Jill, used to work at Hooters--but she hates it when I tell people that. Also, so did my ex-girl from years ago in FL. She's still a great friend of mine also, but doesn't work there anymore either. My guitarist used to be a cook there, MANY years ago... A few other friends and ex-girlfriends used to work there as well, and one still does!

I didn't plan it that way....just kind of happened.

So I guess I may be a little biased when it comes to Hooters, now that I think about it.

Don't you all reilize that that showing a Breast at the most sacred event on the planet is nothing short of High Treason.

And breast feeding should should be outlawed with heavy fines and long jail time, because deep in your true blue American heart you know those little fellows are peeking..........
