Looking for a 4x4 w126 pic...
I know there was one on the forum somewhere...I just cant find it. I found a 123 4x4, but no 126. Can someone help me out?

Don't remember a W126 4X4. I'd have to hurt the person that did that to a w126 tho'

I know there's a 123 300TD wagon that was put on a Nissan pickup chassis to get the 4 wheel drive (it actually looked pretty good, although the ride height seemed a bit high

I've shared a couple of emails with 300td4x4 via the mbz.org listserv. He sent me a write-up (w/pics) of his conversion. It has the stock MB engine and tranny mated to the Nissan divorced transfer case and running gear. He did a top-notch job on that car.
I'd personally prefer to run with the stock Nissan steel wheels with MB hubcaps adapted to fit. That'd make it look like some rare factory werks project that escaped. |
