Question about footwear?
My Birkenstock Boston clogs get pretty beaten up in the winter, but I still like the convenience of a slip on/slip off shoe. So I was thinking yesterday late at night what I should get that could be a true all season shoe that is durable, comfortable, and convenient...
Dutch Wooden Clogs. Similar to these. They have many different colors. They are supposed to be worn with socks, which is good. Anyone have any experiecne with these? Are they comfortable? They are rated as a safety shoe too: the manufacturer dropped a 500LB curb stone on them while they were on his feet. Any experience? I don't want to pay 43 dollars and find out I can't walk in them. |

I remember putting a pair on one day to satisfy curiosity, but ould never wear them in public. They felt like a pair of 2X4's strapped to my feet. The traction is like greasing a 2x4 and walking.

Oh
No mine aren't that beat up, I do use the cork life, but these wooden ones just looked so neat.

Hmm
My Birkenstock Boston Clogs are made of wool, I want the leather ones for general use. Like the brownish Nubuck material. The wool gets very hot.

Narwal, if properly painted they could double as Teal decoys

Hmm
Well I think my best bet is an investment in some Birkenstock brown Boston Clogs.
The wooden ones still seem cool though |
