The front end looks like the "Family Truckster" on National Lampoon's Vacation.

Looks like a lumbering buffalo crossed with a slightly overweight elephant.

I think that car is just lovely, and looks very fitting if you consider what BMW did to that other Brit car, the Mini. Oh, and the OTHER one, the Range Rover. Nice job BMW. I wish there was such a thing as a classic Chrysler design that Mercedes-Benz could reinterpret and modernize.

HM.... modernized oldie.... LOL.... the taillights look so small.....

5.8M for SWB, and LWB to come?? W140 was criticized for its size and now ultra-luxury cars are getting bigger and bigger!?!?

So does anyone understand the RR / Bentley split into BMW owned Rolls Royce and VW owned Bentley? Made my head ache understanding all the machinations. Personally, I always preferred the Bentleys since they were the performance cars of the family...

It was revolting at first sight.

Personally, I preferred the 60s right up to the 80s version of the RR. That was the classic chasis as I see an RR to be.

Long loops of history!

The last time a vehicle with such a bulldog face was introduced to the market..

...was, I have to admit, some time ago:

Well, it is also one of these vehicles where these ridicolous 24" rims with just a little rubber glued to it really fit. But at least you can push railroad-cars around with it.

Anyway, the new Rolls is one of these few vehicle where the camouflaged test mules actually look much better than the final product:

Kind regards
Eberhard
