How Many Miles are you from a Walmart Supercenter?

I am exactly (8) blocks from one!

22 years & 1 month ago, Walmart built a Supercenter 8 blocks from my residence.

Additional info:
I'm exactly (4) miles from (2) more Walmart Supercenters too!

No idea. Their labor practices are horrible. They have one of the highest rate of employees on assistance programs. We refuse to darken their door and support a company like that.

Ours just announced increased enforcement of motorcoaches in the parking lot -- so probably not of interest to OP

I know that you have just a modest house, but you still must be chagrined over its resultant loss in value...

I haven't shopped at any Walmart location in 7 years. I don't intend on giving them a single dime of my money any time in the future either.

I go there whenever I'm in the mood to feel depressed...

There's a wal mart neighborhood market aka a grocery store about 5-6 miles from my house. There's a regular wal mart about 30 minutes away but I never go in that direction so it's been over a decade since I've been there.

A week ago I needed some Rotella six and it was 10:05 PM. On my route were Home Depots and O'Reillys that were closed and a Walmart that was open. So I got the oil and some tranny fluid. I'm deeply embarrassed.

But I had the oil changed by midnight. I like to drain it when it's hot of course, and I had a long trip the next day.

At some point Walmart was open 24/7. About 25 years ago when my wife was a college student in FL, we got locked out of our rental town house. I went to Walmart around 1 am and picked up a ladder and screwdrivers. Thirty minutes later I was able to prop open the upstairs window and unlock the house. Still have the ladder.

I can see my local Walmart from my house, driving, it's about 4-5 miles, as the bird flies, 2ish miles.
