Dodge Viper engine
I saw one today for the first time at the Orinda auto show. Looks like it came out of a tugboat. Damn, the thing is big.
Pretty impressive specimen, complete cherry, I’m not sure I could even get in the front seat though. I don’t quite get it.

Its a pretty big car. Of course the engine is a v8 with two more cylinders added and cast in aluminum. Its not for hauling carpenter tools but strictly for show.
I had a client who had a couple of them. He took me for a ride and got it up to 165 on a lonely section of urban interstate and came back down right away. Dead steady at the top end.

This is one that hasn’t spun out yet. . I’ve seen videos of them going out of control in a hurry from all the torque.
