The only car I can think of that I was kind of surprised was not on the list was an 1st gen Z car.

Phil actually owns many of the cars on this list. The Datsun Z is a lower grade colectable,IMHO. The early cars were the poor man’s E-Type, and that was driven home when the 15 year old Fidanza E-Type dominated the Paul Newman Z’s in SCCA competition in the early 80’s. Fidanza won something like 16 straight races and permanently cemented the Z’s reputation as a cheap copy. I think there were several Japanese cars of that era that are more collectible, including Gen IV Supra, Lexus 400SC, Acura NSX, infinity Q45, the first generation Acura coupe, maybe a couple of others. I’d throw in Subaru 360 just for laughs.
