300SE W112 Coupe.
300SE W112 Cabriolets have reached the quarter million dollar mark, out of most peoples league by now. The coupes are still behind in price but are going up steady in price. Just out of curiosity, what would a full restoration of a coupe like the one in the ad below in the cost, lets assume like the seller claims most of the parts are with the sale and would it be worth it?

About 3 times as much as it would cost to buy a better existing car.

At todays costs not worth doing generally. Even if you are skilled enough to do almost all the labor.
If you took it to a good restoration shop a heavy deposit that may stagger you before they would even start probably. |

IDK probably $100k at least, if not $200k.
