Our artist house guest was on "Pawn Stars"
Our friend, Lena Quagliato lived with us for nearly two years as a guest, moved to L.A. recently and got a commission to paint portraits of the "Pawn Star" characters........ And be on the show.
She is an excellent artist with Animal portraits and murals, but now she is slammed with work ever since the T.V. show last week. The show was called "Chumlee's Revenge". Lena, being a true country girl is learning all about the big city. I must say it's A Love-Hate relationship. (She thought Springfield, Mo was a big city when she moved in with us.) Here is one of the portraits......She had been doing pet portraits because of demand, now the commissions are for human portraits. ![]() http://lqperspective.com/ She had been doing pet portraits because of demand, now the commissions are for human portraits. ![]() Fine art and portraits by Lena Quagliato | paintings, portraits, and fine art in almost any medium

Exposer on national TV as an artist can make you filthy rich, good for her. And she's right, there is nothing real about reality TV, it's all staged.
An old girlfriend of mine started to sell a lot of paintings after she signed with a gallery in Amsterdam. Her oil paintings were huge and were all about wild animals and would sell between $10K and $20K. Every month she would pick up a check from the gallery for a substantial amount of money, close to what most people make in a year. The owner of the gallery would never tell her who was buying her art-work and told her the buyer chose to be anonymous. This went on for a couple of months until a notorious drug kingpin in Amsterdam was assassinated. That month there was no check and the owner of the gallery told her there was only one single buyer of her work...and revealed his identity. A couple of weeks after the liquidation she got a visit from the sister of the dead kingpin at her studio. A large painting he had bought from her and being his favorite had disappeared right after the liquidation from his office. The sister asked her if she could paint an exact replica. After that visit she didn't paint for 4 years. True story.
