Hi everybody, never really chatted in the section except for the diesel & gasser section. I've always been into mafia movies like Casino, Godfather (the best!) Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco etc... Anyone on here watch Donnie Brasco? It had Michael Madsen, Johnny Depp & Al Pacino. About Joe Pistone who infiltrated Bonanno crime family with Sonny Black and Lefty Two Guns Ruggiero. In real life they ended up killing Sonny Black and chopping his hands off for letting such a breach in the Bonanno family as a message. By chopping his hands off was the message about him shaking Joe Pistone's (Donnie Brasco) hand. In the movie it's lefty who dies, but in real life was saved by the feds to serve time when he was on his way to be whacked. I always wondered about the real Donnie Brasco/Joe Pistone if he did a hit within those 6 years when he was on the case and made it to a made guy/wise guy. I'd assume so. Now there's that show Mob Wives who has Ramona Rizzo who is Lefty Ruggiero's granddaughter. And Karen Gravano who is the daughter of the famous Sammy the Bull. He's still alive.

yeah thats a good movie. I read the wiki pages about sonny black and donny brasco. Interesting stuff.. What sucks is how he was treated for all his personal sacrifice and danger he was put in by the FBI..
