It is called a goober rig. I remember Tom's brand peanuts in a long skinny bag. The long skinny bag facilitates pouring the peanuts in the bottle of Coca Cola. Pour the bag in and drink Coke and eat peanuts at the same time. I didn't know that anyone north of the Mason Dixon knew about such things. Kind of like Collard Greens.

Is it good? Well, that seems to be a highly personal thing -- some folks claim it's the greatest. How do you mix it? You don't. The carbonation does the mixing when you drop the peanuts in. They're roasted (not dry-roasted) peanuts, BTW. |

First saw that down in Fort Jackson S.C in 1966. Was very popular among the locals. Buy a SMALL bottle of Coke, and a small bag of peanuts,,, pour the peanuts into the bottle and drink and eat at the same time. Whatever trips your trigger.

Coke and peanuts? You're crazy; it's supposed to be Dr. Pepper and peanuts.

Maybe that is because you are from Texas, the original home of Dr. Pepper until it was bought out by Pepsi, then Coke.
