Shoot wife is home, I can watch all the violence I want.
Yeah Luke is "unorthodox" or something the commentator said. You think he could take Cung Le? www.cungle.com

Luke is explosive...
but Joe knows it and fears him. He will take it to the ground very quickly. I'm picking Joe and Rasheed. Rasheed is just a little more energetic than Brad. The cable went out a couple hours ago. I may need some play by play! I'm not complaining, my hardships have been almost nonexistant, which is saying a lot right now, when you're in the Florida Keys. |

2-0 Ra. I can't believe Rasheed won despite giving up so much size!

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you think these guys need to learn how to punch? (not saying I can even come close) Seems like they lack the power of Foreman or Lewis or other true heavyweight boxers. Gotta give Rasheed more credit though, he iisn't even a true heavyweight it turns out.
I fell asleep before the last fight, couldn't stay up. Dang.

I thought Luke was gonna get that decision.
He held his own on the ground, where Joe was expected to dominate. Glad to see Diego get the decision. That was a MAD fight! Ground battles can often be a snoozefest... but last night was pretty intense. These guys from the Ultimate Fighter TV show are turning out to be better fighters than it sometimes appeared at first. |

Man I studied under said if it ain't over in 30 seconds you better know grappling (chin na).
He also taught me that the bigger they are, the harder they hit. Finally, he encouraged us to spar with boxers so we could learn how to fight somebody who can take a punch. What I learned was that if you play by the boxer's rules, you're gonna get your a$$ handed to you. |

I'm waiting for some guys to come along,
who can just launch devastating death blows... and put all these grapplers to sleep, as soon as they get close enough to them. Rashad should be intimidating, as a 205# fighter. Matt Hughes and Franklin both have fights in 2 weeks. Best submission ever was Hughes suffocating that dude, while perched on his back. He looked like that little monkey dude, from SNL. |

I thought Luke won his fight.
Also believe a folk style wrestler has a good advantage in this sport, a wrestler who can fight, better watch out. |

That Ultimate Fight Club (should call it Intimate Fight Club) is about the gayest thing I have seen on TV that i didn't rent or buy. You straight guys get off to it too?

So, you're the reason they have so much ground game in the UFC?
Most of us straight guys would much prefer to see someone getting pounded on, instead of all the holding and squeezing, I think? Is UFC sexier than bodybuilding or pro wrestling? |

Would groundfighting be a good thing for a woman to learn as self defense?

She might be better off learning a few death blows, or getting a gun? |
