It means a great deal I think. There are obviously many opinions but I think americans are very grateful and touched by the support from other countries. I would hope that this is widely known to the public. It tends to make us feel like we are not entirely hated.

Honestly, I think the view of a more humble (or maybe vulnerable?) USA the world is getting right now will do a lot to counter some of the hate-producing propaganda coming from within and outside America.
