Are Your Fingers Worth An Additional $1-200.00?
Heard a story yesterday about SawStop technology for powertools. Apparently tool companies don't want to license the technology since it may cause more lawsuits than prevent and they don't believe that tool buyers will spend an additional $100-200.00 for a product with the safety feature.
Since most of us are tool consumers, would the additional price make you choose another brand that didn't have the safety feature? |

If it worked as well as they say, I would definetely do it. Saftey is the first priority of any project.

That's cool but I bet it uses a grounding electrode and when the continuity hits a certain point it hit's the brakes, whick won't work if your wear gloves.
