My wheels got a bad chrome job. The old chrome has to be stripped and replaced. Anybody have any recommendations about where to have this done? They're the stock flatfaced W126 wheels from 1991.

Most wheel repair shops can take care of this for you.

I also have chrome wheels and recently called a repair shop about restoring them. I however asked that they strip the chrome and have the wheels highly polished with clear coat instead. Total cost for 4 Wheels would have been $800 , but they said the wheels would look perfect at that price.
