Yes you can.

But they will be too small. Regardless of which chassis S class you have.

You have a slipped belt in the tire,or a bent wheel or an axle/spindle. these are the only things it could be. You can move the rear tires and wheels to the front, and then put the front one on the rear then drive the car and see if the wobble goes away from the rear and goes to the front of the car, this will tell you if it is the tire or not. If it does still wobble then you have a bent axle and or spindle however it is set up.Hope this helps..

Lee stock tire diameter is 26.6. The new wheel are 26.1 and 26. the wider tires are lower. To be above stock height, you need to run a 265 or 285 then 40 x 17,or 18 inch rim

I'm getting 18' smaller diameter tires to see if 1/4 mile times are faster. Then later I'll purchase a 27.2" for highway cruising
I'm buying wheels with tires for 1395 shipping free

The chart below shows what will happen if you mount those tires. The speedo will be 6.6% high . . .

Anything over/under 3% is a no-no. . . had similar problems when I went from stock 16" wheels to 18" wheels. Details here

A handy online tire-size calculator is here

As you read, it's not easily predicted as to what won't rub and what will. As you read here, I had many difficulties with the rear tires but no trouble with the front tires.

The front tires are 245/45-18" and they are fine, no rubbing on turns. The rear tires are 255/45-18" and they also OK. However, the dealer recommend rear tires, 275/40-18" did rub b/c the tire's width is more than the wheel-well opening!

My first guess is a wheel bearing, but like James said, it could be any of a large number of things. Check the tires first, and look for any obvious signs of excessive wear and bulges.
