Has anyone ever used Michelin PAX tires?
These are the expensive run-flat tires that were put on some MBs. I'd like to find out how good they are, and whether they are as resistant to punctures as they had advertised.
They have now been withdrawn from the US market but are still being offered in China on the big cars.

No personal experience however my neighbor traded his odyssey in to avoid having to get new pax tires. I haven't heard anything good about them.

While they are OE on the Veyron and the Honda Odyssey I do not know of any North American Mercedes fitments for the PAX system tires. I also do not know of anybody who praises them.

As I understand it PAX tires require special wheels. I also know most used Honda Odyssey buyers actively look for used wheels, because to get rid of the PAX tires you have to spend $1800 for new wheels and tires.

really .. .that's news to me
and yes PAX wheels are unique and can not even accpet a typical tire size on them
