"warehouse" club tire vs ......
To date, I have been buying tires from a nationally known chain tire shop. But I have been considering getting tires from "warehouse" clubs like Sams. The prices seem unbeatable for the name brands. The savings can be as much as $100 for a set of 4.
I just got a set of 4 Pirelli P3000 from the chain store for $355. Since Sams doesnt carry this tire, I compared it to a decent BF Goodrich and Goodyear that costs the same per tire as the Pirellis but came out at $257 for 4 with exactly the same insurances and fees (lifetime rotation, balancing, replacement, etc). For this much savings, its a no brainer. Has anyone PURCHASED tires from Sams or Costco? Have the tires lasted? Like which tires did you get?
