ET49 compared to ET35
Hello,
I have a C280 with wheel offset of ET35 and an E320 with an offset of ET49 ! The tire size and wheel size is identical except for the offset. I want to put the ET35 wheels on the E320 which has ET49...Can I do this safely and without har to anything ? What will the difference be while driving with ET35 wheels on an ET49 default> Thanks much.. Greg M. www.FCSLive.com |

It will move your wheels OUT a good 1/2 inch ( 14 mm ).
Not sure if it would result in the tires rubbing on the fenderlips. You could try one front & back. ![]()

That's probably because your wheelbolts are too long, jamming into the parkingbrake at the rear.
