Will newer S class wheels fit a W124

I want new wheels for my 400e. Will newer S class wheels fit. same bolt pattern.
wheel dimensions: 16" x 7.5"
offset: 46 mm
bolt circle: 5 on 112 mm

i hope so...i have a nice set sitting in my garage that I would like to put on my 300ce... i have been getting conflicting info....

the offset is a bit high....I believe that the OE offset is ET34 or ET36

Original offset on 400E (1992) is 48mm. A difference of 2mm will never by noticed - less than one twelfth of an inch. Your owner's manual shows the original offset for your car.

its really more of an offset i believe...because the 16's are 7.5 wide... i am going to get a 16 tire mounted on mine soon...so i will be able to clear up this confusion once and for all..

if it doesn't fit..i have a nice set of s class wheels late for sale cheap.

You may want to be carefull because S class and CL class wheels like Ml's use 14mm bolts. Most other MB cars use a 12mm bolt. I have seen S wheels
break off of E classes because the bigger 14mm bolt seat has fractured.
