OM606 Engine and 722.4 Trans For Sale + Lot's of Parts - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Happy Fathers Day to all the forum Dad’s out there and, hello fellow Mercedes-Benz enthusiast and experts. I’ve recently acquired a pristine condition OM606.910 engine and 722.4 Trans that had around 100K on it when it was removed from a car that had been t-boned. It sat in a garage for the last 5 years until I bought it. Got what I need from it (which wasn’t much besides a the intake resonator valves or whatever they are and, the $8 vacuum dash pod. So now, I have a bunch of relays, pumps, a engine and transmission that I need to move out of my way at my shop. When I got this it was as though the complete engine and all components + trans where just dropped from underneath the car as everything was there and basically, it it could of ran ‘out of the box’

Anyways, so I’m selling off the parts, have the Transmission and Torque converter separated from the engine. I did spin the engine over with its own starter. The PO had left the oil full to the right level as well as the trans. It appears to have excellent compression (was blowing out dust or something from the GP hole) All the Glow Plugs came out smoothly with out a glitch (rare for the 606) and, upon inspection, it looks like only a couple of the original GP’s had ever been changed out.. Beru is OEM right? Looks like this gem was well taken care of/ low miles, it’s super clean and looks like it had to short of life.

So, I thought I could give back or see what interest anyone has in any of these parts.

I have:
1- OM606 Engine w/o accessories (starter, alternator, IP) But the Vacuum pump will be included.. It’s to big a hole for me to feel comfortable leaving open or shoving a bunch of shop rags into. I removed the injectors and, GP’s to make sure that they would come free. The Harmonic balancer also comes with the engine as well as the engine mount feet and the exhaust manifold. I can work something out as far as shipping goes If this moves within the next few weeks (heading to Whistler Canada in the beginning of July). Like I said, I spun it over with the starter and my hand and it definitely spins freely and shows good compression. Looking for around $1200 OBO, will negotiate for shop members.

1- 722.4 Transmission. The condition of this is unknown but, there is no obvious signs that anything is wrong, nothing is cracked and it wasn’t leaking when I got it. I drained the trans fluid since to be able to move it when I disconnected it from the engine but, it spins freely as well. Im including the entire set-up /everything to do a ‘drop in’. Trans, The ‘bowden cable’ the VAC Mod valve and dipstick. Again with this I’m open for negotiation and arrangement for delivery/ meet halfway? Like to see around $750 OBO for this but, like I said, Will negotiate especially for forum member.

Starter OEM BOSCH $60 + Shipping
Power Steering pump by Vickers, $50 and its urs +Shipping
Hard Injector lines $50 obo
Water Pump

BTW, This all came from a 1995 W124 E300 Diesel sedan that was totaled.
