Does anyone know a source for the Battery Tray on my 1982 240D? I need to replace it as it is badly corroded and I discovered this while cleaning it up today. I just bought it a week ago. I appreciate any recommendations....Al

You can buy a new one at the MB dealer. The price for the W123 battery tray went sky-high the last couple of years in Europe and therefore we normally use the battery tray of a MB Sprinter (minivan), which is nearly the same and not half as expensive.
