WTB vintage carphone
Anyone got an old car phone they would like to sell? I don't expect it to work nor is it important. It is merely for show as my car used to have a phone in it and now it is gone. I have the antenna for it too, just need the phone and bracket. Name your price.

I have quite a few cell phones from my cars...some are even bag phones. I dont think you can activate them because things went digital. Tell me more about specifics of what you want. I am in Ohio south of cleveland.

I just basically want a phone that I can hook up and make it look like it works. My car is an ex mob car and the FBI took it out when the car was searched through at the impound. It still has the antenna though. I just thought it would be kind of cool and add/restore some character. Could you send/post some pictures of what you have? I am about 20 minutes west of Cleveland in Lorain county on the lake.

Dang, we had one, an original NEC installed in 1987 below the armrest with the handsfree and everything. Would fit perfectly in the W126. I am pretty sure it's been tossed but I can check.

I have a Technophone brand that is on a pretty nice swivel mount. Looks like the one here on ebay
Mine is just the actual phone, cord, base, and car mount. No wiring or other such things. $10/shipped if you want to have some fun with it. Heck, if you get sick of the non-functional phone, you could use the mount for an Ipod or ?? I actually forgot it was in the garage or it would be in the trash already!! Klaus

Not yet. I haven't really had time to work on the car and what I have done was check the chassis for rust. So far not so good....
