WTB: W124 ash tray
Really... car is an '87 300E and we are wanting just the gray ash tray insert (has chrome at top). I want to hack it to make a mount for an XM radio. Anyone? |

Thanks anyway, lee... Already got it from Brian (above).
FWIW, folks... I used the second insert to fab a mounting bracket for an XM radio (Roady2). It worked out great. The stock ashtray is still intact. I just pop it and the lighter out and insert the modded insert and clip the XM on and I'm good to go. The wiring is all hard installed with only a small harness that rests between the driver's seat and console when not in use. Worked out great and love it!! |
