A few things

Hi guys
I have a few things i want to sort out on my '94 SL500, just wondering if anyone can help.
1. How do i take the centre consol apart? I want to sort out the sliding covers that cover up the ashtray, the end clip has broken off and the cover has fallen into the console.

2. My car is leaking power steering fluid, i have to top up the reservoir every week, can anybody email a pic or something - possible from the workshop manuals, of the power steering components, so that i can trace the leak and sort it out.

3. The hardtop demister doesnt work, what can i check to diagnose the problem.

On #2, mine leaks directly under the reservoir, there's a 2 inch hose that gets old and brittle. It is a common problem I've heard and sucks to get to. I can see it but can't really get in there.

On #3, make sure the top electrical plug is in on the drivers rear doorjam. I know it's simple, but it can be easily overlooked.

I can't help you on #1.
