Replacement of door guards

Has anyone on the Boad changed those side mouldings, the rubber ones that stop door dings? If so, how big a job is it? Thanks

Richard,

It's not that big of a deal. Each guard has a stud on it where it docks into the body, which you will be able to see when you buy new guards. The nuts do rust over time so you may what to buy new nuts before you do this job. Now with that said, I have heard of guys denting the door or other parts of the car when installing guards by pushing too hard on them, so to avoid this... use vaseline on the docking points.
