It's a weird thing...spark,fuel and no running

'86 560SL would start and then dies right away.
I have changed the fuel pump relay, fuel filter, one of the fuel pumps ,new injectors, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new ignition distributor.
There is fuel pressure and it is in the specs.
The only way to keep it from stalling is to keep the RPMs over 1,500 and it shakes.
I appreciate any info or help! Thanks!

More info would help. Is this a new problem that just started, a recently acquired auto that came that way, etc. It could be an idle circuitry problem or a mixture problem.

This is how the car came when I purchased it (about 1 month ago).
I readjusted the EHA with 1/8 turn CW and then another 1/2 turn on air mixture idle screw and since that, the car would run and would not stall but...idle is jumping between 500 and 800 rpms with shaking.
I let it run for at least 20 min and was still running.Tried to return the air screw to original position and then the same thing happen - would start and then short after(2-3 sec) stalls.
