Are these good or not?

Came across a set of seals for the hardtop.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Hard-Top-Seals-380SL-560SL-450SL-107-W107-Seal_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2 ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem280270882683QQitemZ280270882683

Are they worth it or should I get them from the dealer?

Do your self a favor and stay with the OEM rubber seals. I have bseen a lot of post in the past where people have had major problem with the after market seal

they will do the job BUT the main issue is the composition of the rubber, everything fits but the seal is less than perfect making them less desirable

That seller is very good. I bought some seals from them a year or so ago. Also got seals from other EBay sources. Bottom line: NONE of them was a 'perfect' fit. The windshield header seal (soft top) was even an inch too long, as well as way too stiff to compress properly. I re-used the original. The soft top compartment seal was the wrong shape, not even close to OEM, but I had to use it anyway since the nice weather was on the way and I wanted to finish the job. The windshield post seals fit OK, as did the glass seals on the soft top, and they were hollow and do an acceptable job of sealing wind noise - IF you play around with the channels that hold them in. If you can afford it, go with MB seals.

I think that a lot of people think that buying original seals automatically makes them just "drop right in". Well, even in the shop manual it does mention that you might have to bend the aluminum frames at the top and cowl a little for perfect fit. Also, MB has more than one supplier, and there is certainly more than one mold for these "original" parts - I was reading an article in the MBCA Star magazine on how entire doors on classic MB's have to be readjusted to accommodate the presently-sold "original MB" seals.
