Covercraft makes a very good product. I got one for my '87 560SL from them.

Performance Products has very good Mercedes accessories at very good prices. I have very good luck with them. They have a cab cover for when you are on the road and the top is down, etc. (www.performanceproducts4benz.com)

should be more clear about my last description. the cab cover is for when you have parked the car, you can cover the open cab of the car without putting up the top, etc. I have used mine for the last 3 years.

Do you have one of these covers? I bought one of each (top up and top down) from performance, and neither fit very well. In fact, I have returned them and am waiting for a refund or a better fitting product (I have pics if you would like to see how bad the fit was)...

I've also bought a cab cover (top down) from Performance Products that didn't fit very well, though I used it anyway for the last couple years. Nothing in particular against them as a company; they've fulfilled other orders well and promptly. I just had one made to measure by my usual boat canvas guy which fits beautifully for $150; elastic under the mirrors, Velcro around the door handles, and long straps going under the trunk lid with a segment of dowel sewn in so they can't pull out if the trunk's closed.
I haven't spoken to them but would expect they'd make others using mine as a pattern for the same price; no relationship, just a local guy who does nice work.

I have the top up cover, I am disapointed with it. It would have been much nicer if it had a little pannel with a hole in it along the back end that hooked under the back of the converable top.

I bought a fitted indoor dust cover from autochic.com good product fast service, they also sell a variety of fabrics for different uses and you can either order ffrom their stock or custom check them out. About $130usd for my SL320 '94. An indoor cover is a lightweight cotton poly blend that will shed some water but is mostly to prevent the car from beinf affected by the usual garage elements.

IMO, the best indoor cover is made from Tyvek. It may take some looking to find one but it does not produce or leach dust like others. It also allows moisture to escape but not penetrate it's exterior. I switched a few years ago and will never go back to other materials.
