SL speedometer/odo gears, where to BUY the parts?

Looking for a gear set for the speedo/odo in my SL. The other day I started to notice the odo freezing, then resuming again. Time for some new gears, but I would rather do it myself than have a shop do it. Where can I find these gears?

Thanks!

It's not the gears pe se. It's probably that they have lost their adhesion to the little shaft that runs through their centers and turns them. Try a search - there are several posts on how to fix this problem.

I have disassembled the speedo/odo and have verified the grey alloy gear on the right side of the odometer to be slipping on the rod. How do I put epoxy on it without having epoxy run along the rod, thus sticking to the digit wheels?

How?

Also, what would be the best solution to clean the gauge faces with? Warm water, or what? I'd like something that doesn't streak on the faces.

Thanks in advance!

I've got the same problem with my Odometer. It started to stick on me and it has now stopped working all together. I haven't had a chance to take it into the shop to get fixed yet. Though after reading these posts, I may have to do a little research on this site and do it myself.
