Hey fellas,

Just wanna know if rims from 300SL R129 will fit a 500E. The rims are AMG 3-piece 17 x 8.5 F and 17 x 10 R... Thank you.

Normally anything that fits a 129SL should fit your 500E, BUT, some members have complained that the wheels seem to stick out to much for their tastes...
I have 18" rims, 10" in the back, no rubbing whatsoever, those wheels were referenced for the 129SL...
I'd recommend having the rims put on the car before you buy, or make sure you can have some sort of money back guarantee...

If these are the older AMG/OZ "forged" 3-piece wheels, then IMHO, they are the wrong fit. Both the front & rear stick it out too much, and will need at least 4-5 mm shaved-off, plus you'll need to make a new hub-centric ring since it will be gone with the shaving.
