I'm not a big fan of modified MB's...

but WOW!!!! Your car is really really nice! I really like those rims. Carllssons (sp?...) right?

and boy I love the color! What is it?
makes me want to get a 124 and do it up nicely too

Thanks for the compliments people!!

Scott, as for blending the duck tail, unfortunately due to our not so wonderful weather in the winter and the ability for it to go from -25 celcius to +2 in a day, the tail would definitely crack....maybe moving to cali is the answer, then i don't have to miss out on GTG's.

Yeah A lot of people think its a 5....too bad it's not, but I am more than happy with it. I haven't flared the fenders on it, just a nice drop ...for now...

Holson Adi,

You are correct on the wheel type, (incorrect on the spelling though ) they are Carlsson 2/6 brilliant edition 18x8's. The color is the factory MB color pearl black or anthracite something or other...dunno exactly..it's a few shades darker than yours...thanks for the kind words...

whoops :p

I really like them on your W124 that I checked 'em out.. apparently they are not available for the E500!! I don't get it..

In fact no Carlssons for E500/500E according to TireRack...

ps. I don't have a 500E yet... just looking for one right now. When I do have one, probably won't have the cash to do it up as nicely as yours.. oh well enjoy it and drive safe

Holson,

I don't entirely agree with Tire Rack's knowledge on sizing for all Mercedes, give Rob a call at Tunerworks in Calgary, Canada...I know it's far but he's good...he'll tell you if it will work and probably give u a decent deal..tell him mark with the 300E asked to call...(403)398-9832

I know that Tirerack doesn't list them for the 124.036, but I'm pretty sure Carlssons would fit fine. I'm assuming that they are 18x8ET35 and 18x9ET35, which should fit like a glove (considering stock size is 16x8ET34). Only problem with Carlssons is that they are HEAVY (at least my 2/5s were). But other than that, gorgeous wheels.

lMy 500E is in the shop and should be out by the end of the week. Black pearl getting all panels painted with 2 piece AMGs. Should look very similar to yours. I'll post pics as soon as she's out.
