Cool Scott

That looks like a set of hillborn injectors from the old hot rodding days. Basically an 8-pack or a separate throddle body for each cylinder. Creats lots of horsepower when tuned properly !!!!!!!
KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

my 2 cents

I'm no expert, but I think this is basically similar to what BMW has the M5's motor breathe through to get 400 hp out of the its five liters--an individual throttle body per cylinder. Other than that, with dohc, variable valve timing and 11.0:1 compression, the M5's V8 and the M119 seem pretty similar. Being newer, I would hazard a guess that the M5's variable valve timing is probably fancier, and it has a cool-sounding fly-by wire throttle control thing, but other than that the two engines probably aren't apples and oranges and the M119 might have similar power potential breathing through a deal like this (very cool). Perhaps one of the tech guys could jump in here and tell us for sure?

I think it was Sinichi who said that it used Motec engine management in the install...tack on another $3000 on the price tag, not to mention install $$$.

The engine looks real pissed though!
